about
Here is a song I wrote, prompted by eavesdropping in a conversation of a bunch of boys gossiping about a girl. It was silly, everything they said was quite stupid, and the girl...well she seemed like someone i'd like to know. So I made a song to honour her. <3
lyrics
ALMOST A MOTHER
Falling through the trade,
was it magic or masquerade oh
all her best friends call her babe
what a surprise that
and we go time after time only looking for the right way in
but no one can stop her or know where to begin
Cat call, hissing sound
She left you on read for days
And all this messing around
Shook up all the gossip girls
They say she is not a lot fun
always half here and half on the run
and i heard shes almost a mother
Toxic, talk about
dresses the part and says how much
she's freaked out, cos her dreams are the strangest
in a toast to the crowds
'this is for the lover boys and all the girls that put out'
all so vaguely dangerous
Cat call, hissing sound
She left you on read for days
And all this messing around
Shook up all the gossip girls
They say she is not a lot fun
always half here and half on the run
and i heard she's almost a mother
Cat call, hissing sound
She left you on read for days
And all this messing around
Shook up all the gossip girls
They say she is not a lot fun
always half here and half on the run
and i heard she's almost a mother
